The Joint Commission

The Joint Commission (TJC) accreditation means that Arroyo Vista Family Health Center health meets or exceeds rigorous standards for patient care and safety. These standards focus on the way Arroyo Vista functions and works to meet patient needs.  TJC is the nation's largest and only accreditor that reaches across the full continuum of care. They accredit nearly 15,000 healthcare organizations in the United States.  Arroyo Vista has volunteered and successfully achieved accreditation and re-accreditation by TJC since 1994 and strives for continued improvement.

Arroyo Vista is also TJC certified as a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH), meaning it meets specific standards that focus on centering care around the patient.  PCMH certification emphasizes providing high-quality, coordinated, and patient-centered primary care. Standards also address access, comprehensive care, and a strong relationship between the patient and their healthcare team.
