About Us

Arroyo Vista Family Health Center ("AVFHC") provides comprehensive health services for you and your entire family. Located in the Northeast community, our team of qualified bilingual doctors, nurses, and staff are dedicated to serving you in a caring manner. We take pride in responding to your special needs and in providing you with a wide range of quality health care services. We care about your health and we provide services to all.

AVFHC is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations ("JCAHO").  JCAHO is dedicated to improving the quality of the nation's health care and by achieving this accreditation demonstrates Arroyo Vista's commitment to provide high quality care for its patients and to continuously improve organization  performance. Arroyo Vista is committed to improving health care access, health outcomes, and to decrease health disparities. 

Who We Are

Arroyo Vista is a Public Health Service, Section 330, Federally Qualified Health Center ("FQHC"). Since 1981, we have been serving the health care needs of Greater Northeast Los Angeles and surrounding communities by providing accessible, high quality, and affordable primary health care and preventive services.

Arroyo Vista is licensed by the State of California Department of Health Services. Quality management standards are applied in caring for our patients. Arroyo Vista in Highland Park offers the most comprehensive primary health care in this area.  In 1997, we opened a second Community Health Center serving the Lincoln Heights community.  In 2001, another Community Health Center was opened serving the El Sereno Community.  In 2005 we opened a 20,817 sq.ft. Community Health Center in Lincoln Heights to replace the existing 6,000 sq.ft. Lincoln Heights facility.  In 2006, we opened another Community Health Center on Loma Drive.  Arroyo Vista also has a Mobile Clinic serving the greater Northeast Los Angeles community and surrounding areas.  

We offer a flexible payment plan that includes Medi-Cal, Medi-Care, private insurance, Children Health Disability Prevention Program (CHDP), Healthy Families and payment plans that are available to people with limited incomes. We accept most Medi-Cal managed care plans.
